Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) (FRA: 4K2) has released an updated investor presentation that consolidates its rapidly advancing North American critical-minerals portfolio, with a sharpened focus on building a significant U.S.-based tungsten exploration platform. The presentation, now available on the company's website, brings together for the first time historical production records, modern exploration results, geophysical interpretations, surface sampling, emerging drill targets, and the planned advancement strategy across its Eagle Point, Rowland, and White Star tungsten projects in the United States.

The timing of this release is pivotal as Western Star positions itself to capitalize on the growing strategic importance of tungsten in U.S. policy discussions. Tungsten is essential for defence, aerospace, and advanced manufacturing, making secure domestic supply chains a priority. The company's portfolio now centres on three past-producing projects in two established U.S. mining jurisdictions, each at a different stage of exploration, providing a pipeline of potential drill targets.

At the Eagle Point project in New Mexico, Western Star holds a 100% interest in a past-producing tungsten site with eight historically mapped skarn bodies along approximately 1,500–2,000 feet of prospective granite-limestone contact. Historical production shipped around 1,800 tons of scheelite-bearing material to the U.S. Government stockpile during 1943–44, with surface sampling by USGS and NMBGMR returning high-grade results, including sample LH705 with 27.6% WO3 and 0.98% Mo. Notably, in 1955 the U.S. Government prepared a Defense Minerals Exploration Administration contract that would have funded 75% of an exploration program, but it was never executed. Western Star now aims to systematically test this historically attractive system with modern techniques, targeting a maiden drilling program in 2026 to gather data for a potential NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate.

In Nevada, the Rowland and White Star projects form a consolidated Jarbidge–Charleston tungsten footprint covering more than six kilometres of prospective horizons. Western Star's 2026 exploration at Rowland returned selected rock results up to 4.02% WO3, with soil geochemistry, UAV magnetics, and geological mapping identifying Central and Rowland Main as principal targets within a one-kilometre geochemical corridor. At White Star, a selective rock sample returned 3.00% WO3 and 711 ppm Mo, and a new high-resolution UAV magnetic dataset has identified multiple target zones beyond historical workings. The company has initiated drill permitting with a USFS Plan of Operations to cover the consolidated district.

The updated presentation underscores Western Star's transformation from acquiring historical assets to actively generating modern exploration data. It also highlights potential government support, noting the company has applied to a U.S. Defense Industrial Base Consortium solicitation for strategic critical minerals. While there is no assurance of funding, the historical precedent at Eagle Point, where the government was prepared to fund 75% of exploration costs, illustrates the strategic relevance of these assets.

Additionally, the presentation includes the company's Western Star Property in British Columbia, a 4,740-hectare project permitted for drilling, hosting twelve documented MINFILE occurrences, providing optionality in gold, silver, copper, lead, and zinc. However, the primary focus remains the U.S. tungsten portfolio.

With the U.S. government increasingly emphasizing secure critical mineral supplies, Western Star's portfolio of past-producing tungsten assets, modern exploration data, and clear strategy toward drilling and resource definition positions the company to potentially play a key role in domestic tungsten supply.
