Phase 1 exploration at the Rowland Tungsten Property in Nevada has revealed multiple zones of historical tungsten workings, significantly increasing the property's prospectivity and setting the stage for drill targeting.

Western Star Resources Inc. (CSE: WSR) (OTC: WSRIF) has announced the successful completion of Phase 1 exploration at its 100% owned, past-producing Rowland Tungsten Property in Elko County, Nevada. The program, which included a high-resolution UAV magnetic survey, soil geochemistry, rock-chip sampling, and ground-truthing of historical workings, has materially increased the company's understanding of the property. Four discrete zones of extensive historical tungsten-bearing workings have been confirmed, all hosted within the same skarn-style geological setting as the originally targeted Rowland zone.

The most significant discovery is the Northern Zone B, which was not documented in publicly available historical records. Field crews identified dilapidated wooden infrastructure consistent with a historical ore chute, along with several decommissioned shafts. This area is believed to have been a historical processing site for the broader Rowland operation. Additionally, a series of northeast-southwest oriented trenches testing approximately 600 to 700 metres of strike length were confirmed. The Northern Zone A, which prompted the company's prior expansion of the claim package, also showed substantially larger waste dumps and surface piles than historical records indicate, suggesting significant historical mining activity.

At the Rowland Main Zone, the original target area, multiple new workings, trenches, and surface disturbances were identified. Material from this zone displayed extensive UV fluorescence consistent with scheelite mineralization, confirmed by portable XRF screening. Channel samples were taken across various lithologies and contacts to characterize distribution and grade. The Central Zone, previously undocumented, contains processing infrastructure, shafts, and extensive trenching, further expanding the project's potential.

The UAV magnetic survey, the first modern high-resolution geophysical dataset for the property, is being processed, with preliminary results expected imminently. Soil sampling across the Rowland Main zone and reconnaissance lines across the Northern zones has been completed. All rock and soil samples have been rush-submitted to the laboratory, with assay results expected in the coming weeks.

The company's near-term priorities are to integrate Phase 1 assay results, finalize the Phase 2 program, and advance the project toward drill targeting and permitting.
