Vingroup has climbed 11 places to rank 26th in the 2026 Fortune Southeast Asia 500, up from 37th in 2025 and 45th in 2024. The conglomerate remains the highest-ranked private enterprise in Vietnam, according to the list published by Fortune.
The ranking, now in its third year, evaluates companies based on total revenue across seven Southeast Asian countries: Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, the Philippines, and Cambodia. Fortune noted that Vingroup is well positioned to capitalize on shifts in global supply chains and the rapid growth of strategic industries such as electric vehicles and artificial intelligence.
In 2025, Vingroup reported revenue of USD 12,760.6 million, a 69.1% year-on-year increase from the figures used in the 2025 ranking. The company also recorded net profit of USD 436.5 million and total assets of USD 42,536.4 million.
Key drivers of growth include VinFast, which delivered nearly 200,000 electric vehicles in 2025, up 102% year-on-year. In the first quarter of 2026, VinFast delivered 58,577 electric vehicles, a 61% increase compared to the same period last year. Vingroup is a diversified conglomerate operating across Industrials-Technology, Real Estate and Services, Infrastructure, Green Energy, Culture, and Social Enterprises.
Under the Real Estate and Services pillar, Vinhomes maintained its market-leading position with 32 residential developments housing approximately 650,000 residents. In 2025, Vinhomes recorded contracted sales of VND 205.3 trillion, up 98% year-on-year, and delivered more than 34,000 units. Its unrecognized contracted sales backlog reached VND 186.4 trillion, providing a solid foundation for future growth. In 2026, Vinhomes launched large-scale urban developments including Vinhomes Global Gate Ha Long, Vinhomes Hai Van Bay, and Vinhomes Saigon Park.
Vinpearl continued to lead Vietnam's hospitality sector, operating 60 facilities across 20 provinces, with over 17,500 rooms, 15 VinWonders theme parks, six golf courses, and two semi-wildlife conservation parks.
Under the Infrastructure pillar, VinSpeed has commenced construction of Vietnam's first two high-speed rail projects: the Ben Thanh - Can Gio line in Ho Chi Minh City and the Hanoi - Quang Ninh line. The Hanoi - Quang Ninh route, launched in April 2026, is the country's first interregional high-speed railway project.
Within Green Energy, VinEnergo announced expansion plans across Asia and Europe, supported by a renewable energy project pipeline of 10 GW. In Vietnam, the company has obtained investment registration certificates for four renewable energy projects.
VinUniversity became the youngest university in Vietnam to receive the FIBAA Quality Seal in March 2026. Vinmec inaugurated its 10th hospital, spanning over 31,000 sqm. In May 2026, Vingroup launched V-Film, a film and television production and distribution company, under its new Culture pillar.
Looking ahead, Vingroup aims to accelerate core business activities, leverage its diversified ecosystem, enhance operational efficiency, and expand its international presence to achieve its 2026 targets and strengthen its position as a leading regional enterprise.
