Starting July 22, Verizon customers can preorder Samsung's latest foldable lineup, including the Galaxy Z Fold8 and Galaxy Z Fold8 Ultra, alongside the Galaxy Watch9 and Watch Ultra2. The devices are available through Verizon's Simplicity Plan and My Biz Plan, which the carrier says eliminate network tiers and provide full device freedom.
The Galaxy Z Fold8, priced at $1,899.99, and the Z Fold8 Ultra, at $2,099.99, are designed for high-performance productivity with expansive screens. Verizon is offering the Z Fold8 for $60 per month for 48 months on the Simplicity Plan, with $460 in promotional credits applied over the term. New customers can qualify by opening a line on Simplicity, enrolling in Auto Pay and paper-free billing, and switching their number from another carrier. The Z Fold8 Ultra is available for $35 per month after a $420 promotional credit under similar conditions.
Existing customers can save up to $1,100 by trading in an eligible phone when upgrading to an Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Ultimate plan. The trade-in credit is applied over 36 months. Additionally, Verizon is offering the "Ultimate Bundle" where customers who purchase a new Samsung phone can get a Galaxy Watch9 and Galaxy Tab S10 FE at no cost when adding service lines. For those bringing their own Android phone, Verizon provides a Galaxy Watch9 for free or a Galaxy Watch Ultra2 for as low as $8 per month.
Verizon is also enhancing customer rewards with its new loyalty program, offering cash back in Verizon Dollars monthly, and Verizon Shine, which provides weekly chances to win experiences and daily drops. For entertainment, customers purchasing a Z Fold8 or Z Fold8 Ultra can get a six-month subscription to the Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN+ bundle on the Simplicity Plan or myPlan.
Preorders are available at Verizon stores, verizon.com, and the My Verizon app, with full retail availability starting August 7. The announcement underscores Verizon's strategy to simplify mobile plans while offering high-value promotions on innovative devices.
