Vast Coworking Group Reports Strong 2025 Growth Across Flexible Workspace Brands

Vast Coworking Group, the world's largest privately owned franchisor of coworking spaces, reported strong year-over-year performance in 2025 across systemwide sales, membership growth, franchise development, and international expansion. The company’s three brands—Venture X, Office Evolution, and Intelligent Office—collectively scaled operations, solidifying Vast as the second-largest flexible workspace network in North America and the third-largest globally by location count.

The flexible office sector continues to attract investment as enterprises and entrepreneurs increasingly shift away from traditional long-term leases. Despite representing only an estimated 2% of U.S. office inventory, flexible workspace is rapidly growing and becoming an essential component of modern office strategies. Vast’s performance in 2025 reflects these industry tailwinds. Venture X reported an 11% increase in annual revenue, while Office Evolution posted a 13% increase. Intelligent Office maintained stable revenue while refining its virtual office and professional services offerings for anticipated domestic and international expansion in 2026.

"We're now in the era of 'Coworking 4.0' with commercial real estate having a flex-first approach. Fortune 500 companies and other major enterprises—even the government—are turning to flex to accommodate hybrid and distributed workforces without long-term leases," said Jason Anderson, co-founder and CEO of Vast. "The performance of our brands in 2025 underscores the strength of our portfolio and franchise model and validates demand for diversified coworking concepts that serve different customer segments and real estate profiles worldwide."

Membership growth was a key performance indicator. Venture X grew its global membership base by 67%, Office Evolution by 50%, and Intelligent Office surpassed 4,800 members. The company also expanded its global footprint: Venture X exceeded 1.49 million square feet, Office Evolution surpassed 919,700 square feet, and Intelligent Office topped 324,800 square feet. In total, Vast now operates more than 2.7 million square feet worldwide.

Development activity accelerated throughout 2025. Venture X and Office Evolution opened 11 and 6 new locations, respectively, supported by strong franchise interest in suburban and secondary markets. Franchise development resulted in 13 new Venture X agreements, 16 Office Evolution agreements, and 11 Intelligent Office agreements, with 34 locations already in the pipeline for 2026.

International expansion also progressed. Office Evolution opened its first international locations in Canada and South Africa and signed a master license agreement for the United Kingdom. Venture X expanded one of its India locations and signed a master license agreement for South Africa.
