Soligenix CEO to Present at BIO Investment & Growth Summit, Highlighting Pipeline Progress

Soligenix Inc. (NASDAQ: SNGX) announced that its president and CEO, Christopher J. Schaber, Ph.D., will deliver a corporate presentation at the BIO Investment & Growth Summit on March 2. The conference, taking place March 2-3 at Eden Roc Miami Beach in Florida, focuses on growth-stage biotechnology companies and includes company presentations, one-on-one meetings, and programming tailored to the sector. This event provides a platform for Soligenix to highlight its progress in developing therapies for rare diseases and public health solutions.

The company operates through two business segments: Specialized BioTherapeutics and Public Health Solutions. In the Specialized BioTherapeutics segment, Soligenix is advancing HyBryte (SGX301), a novel photodynamic therapy using visible light for cutaneous T-cell lymphoma (CTCL), a rare form of cancer. After successful completion of a second Phase 3 study, the company is preparing to seek regulatory approvals for potential commercialization worldwide. The segment is also exploring expansion of synthetic hypericin (SGX302) into psoriasis, and developing first-in-class innate defense regulator (IDR) technology, dusquetide (SGX942), for inflammatory diseases such as oral mucositis in head and neck cancer, and SGX945 for Behcet's Disease.

On the Public Health Solutions side, Soligenix is developing RiVax, a ricin toxin vaccine candidate, along with vaccine programs targeting filoviruses (including Marburg and Ebola) and CiVax, a COVID-19 vaccine candidate. These programs leverage the company's proprietary ThermoVax heat stabilization platform technology, which aims to eliminate the need for cold chain storage. The segment has received support from government agencies including the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), the Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), and the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA).

The BIO Investment & Growth Summit represents an opportunity for investors to learn about Soligenix's pipeline and near-term milestones. The company's focus on unmet medical needs in rare diseases and public health aligns with growing interest in biotech innovation. Additional details about the conference are available on the event's website.
