Powermax Minerals Commences 2026 Exploration at Cameron REE Project, Building on Strong Initial Results

Powermax Minerals Inc. (CSE: PMAX) (OTCQB: PWMXF) has kicked off its 2026 exploration program at the company's 100%-owned Cameron Rare Earth Element (REE) Project in British Columbia, Canada. The initiative follows encouraging results from previous exploration phases and is designed to advance the project toward potential drilling. The three-week program combines geological mapping, prospecting, rock and soil sampling, stream sediment sampling, ground radiometric surveys, and integrated data analysis. The objective is to refine REE target corridors, identify potential bedrock sources, and prioritize areas for future trenching and first-pass drilling.

The Cameron Project, which spans 2,984 hectares with access to established transportation infrastructure, has shown significant enrichment of both light and heavy rare earth elements across multiple geological units. Earlier Phase 1 and 2 exploration returned soil samples with total rare earth oxide (TREO) values up to approximately 2,840 parts per million (ppm) and surface rock samples reaching 740 ppm. These results underscore the project's potential for hosting economically significant REE mineralization, which is critical for various high-tech and green energy applications. The project is also prospective for niobium and other mineralization, adding to its overall value proposition.

The 2026 program will leverage these prior findings to delineate drill-ready targets. By conducting ground radiometric surveys and detailed geochemical sampling, the company aims to trace the source of the REE enrichment and expand the known mineralized zones. This systematic approach is expected to enhance the geological understanding of the Cameron Project and guide efficient allocation of exploration resources.

Powermax Minerals is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on advancing rare earth element projects. In addition to the Cameron Project, the company holds options to acquire the Atikokan REE Property and Pinard REE Property in NW Ontario, and owns a 100% interest in the Ogden Bear Lodge Project in Crook County, Wyoming. The company's strategic portfolio positions it to capitalize on the growing demand for rare earth elements, which are essential components in magnets, batteries, and other clean energy technologies.

The commencement of the 2026 field program marks a significant step forward for Powermax Minerals as it progresses the Cameron Project along the development path. The results of this program will be crucial in determining the next phase of exploration, which could include trenching and drilling to test the identified targets. Stakeholders and industry observers will be watching closely for updates, as positive results could substantially enhance the project's value and the company's prospects.
