Powermax Minerals Inc. (CSE: PMAX) (OTCQB: PWMXF) (FSE: T23) has commenced its 2026 exploration program at its wholly owned Cameron Rare Earth Element (REE) project near Revelstoke, British Columbia. The three-week campaign aims to build on previous stream sediment, soil, and rock geochemical results through detailed geological mapping, prospecting, and targeted ground radiometric surveys.
The company stated that the program will integrate geological, geochemical, and radiometric data to better define previously identified REE anomaly corridors, constrain potential bedrock source areas, and improve understanding of pegmatite-hosted mineralization. Results will be used to rank exploration targets and guide future work, including potential trenching and drilling.
Management emphasized that the project remains at an early stage and that geochemical or radiometric anomalies do not necessarily indicate the presence of economically recoverable mineralization. The Cameron REE Property comprises three mineral claims totaling approximately 2,984 hectares in British Columbia.
Powermax Minerals is a Canadian mineral exploration company focused on advancing rare earth element projects. In addition to the Cameron project, the company holds an option to acquire the Atikokan REE Property in NW Ontario, consisting of 455 unpatented mining claims, and the Pinard REE Property in Northern Ontario, covering 5,178 hectares. Powermax also owns a 100% interest in the Ogden Bear Lodge Project in Crook County, Wyoming.
