The Nordex Group has announced new orders from wind energy companies ENOVA and BMR energy solutions for the supply and installation of 30 wind turbines with a combined capacity exceeding 197 MW in Germany. The projects, located in Lower Saxony, Schleswig-Holstein and North Rhine-Westphalia, all include long-term Premium Service agreements lasting 20 years.
In Boldecker Land, Lower Saxony, ENOVA is undertaking a 68 MW repowering project using ten Nordex N163/6.X turbines. Installation is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter of 2027, with commissioning planned for early 2028. Another wind farm in Schleswig-Holstein will see ENOVA install six N149/5.X turbines totaling 34.2 MW, with construction starting in early 2028 and commissioning by mid-2028.
Two projects in North Rhine-Westphalia—Nettetal and Breberen—were originally developed by BMR energy solutions. For Nettetal, which BMR sold to ENOVA, Nordex will supply five N163/6.X turbines, with construction starting in October 2027 and commissioning in early 2028. In Breberen, ENOVA and BMR are partnering to replace existing turbines with nine N163/6.X units in a repowering effort to boost electricity production and site efficiency. Installation there also begins in October 2027, with commissioning in the second quarter of 2028.
Karsten Bruggemann, Vice President Region Europe of the Nordex Group, emphasized the strengthened relationships: “We have built a long-standing and trusting relationship with BMR, which we have successfully developed further through numerous projects. We are therefore all the more pleased to now also implement more joint projects with ENOVA again and to further expand our business relationship.” He noted that both partners relying on Nordex’s technology and service expertise is a strong sign of confidence.

The orders underscore the ongoing repowering trend in Germany, where older turbines are replaced with more efficient models to maximize output. ENOVA, with 1 GW in its own portfolio, aims to reach 3 GW by 2030. BMR energy solutions, based in Geilenkirchen, has extensive experience in onshore wind development in western Germany. The Nordex Group, which has commissioned over 64 GW globally since 1985, reported consolidated sales of around EUR 7.6 billion in 2025 and employs more than 11,100 people.
