The Nordex Group has secured three new orders in the United States with a combined capacity of more than 480 megawatts (MW), the company announced today. The contracts comprise the supply of 81 N163/5.X turbines. The names of the customers and of the projects are not being disclosed. These projects will be delivered in accordance with customer-specific requirements and further strengthen the Nordex Group’s presence in the U.S. market.

The new orders will be manufactured in the Nordex Group’s production plant in Iowa. This manufacturing facility is a key part of the company’s U.S. operations, enabling it to meet domestic demand for wind turbines while supporting local jobs and the supply chain.

They underscore the ongoing vitality of the U.S. wind energy market, which continues to attract substantial investment despite policy uncertainties.
