Nicolet Law Accident & Injury Lawyers hosted an interactive booth at the 2026 Minnesota State Fair, which ran from Aug. 27 through Labor Day, Sept. 7. The 12-day event provided the firm with an opportunity to meet fairgoers, share information about its work across the Midwest, and distribute merchandise and prizes. The booth's presence underscores the firm's dedication to fostering personal connections within the communities it serves.
Located outside the Agriculture Horticulture Building, just off Judson Avenue, between the Veterans Garden and the Circle Adopt-A-Garden and directly across from the International Bazaar, the booth featured a branded van and tent. Visitors could pick up Nicolet Law merchandise and spin a prize wheel for a chance to win giveaways. The appearance reflects the "Be Kind. Do Good." philosophy that guides the firm's community involvement. Founded in 2007 in Hudson, Wisconsin, Nicolet Law has grown to serve injured people across Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa, and Indiana and it uses events like the State Fair to connect with the neighbors it represents.
"The State Fair is one of the most exciting gatherings in Minnesota, and it was a great chance to meet our neighbors face to face," said Russell Nicolet, President of Nicolet Law. "We were not there to hand out legal advice between corn dogs. We were there to say hello, have some fun, and let people know that if the unexpected happens, they do not have to face it alone."
Alongside the main booth, the firm's Midwest Motorcycle Lawyers team had its own presence at the Fair. Led by partner Drew Epperly, known as The Midwest's Motorcycle Lawyer, the group represents injured riders across the region and knows the motorcycle community from the inside. The Midwest Motorcycle Lawyers hosted a separate table with its own merchandise and a bike giveaway, and the team served as the main sponsor of the Fair's motorcycle parking lot. This sponsorship is particularly significant as it demonstrates the firm's targeted outreach to motorcyclists, a group often underrepresented in traditional legal marketing.
"Riders look out for one another, and that is the same spirit we try to bring to our work," said Epperly. "Sponsoring the motorcycle lot and meeting riders at the Fair was a natural fit for a team that rides too."
The implications of Nicolet Law's participation extend beyond simple brand visibility. By engaging directly with the public in a relaxed, festive environment, the firm humanizes its services and builds trust—a crucial factor in personal injury law, where clients often seek representation during stressful times. Moreover, the dedicated motorcycle presence highlights a growing recognition of the unique legal needs of riders, who face distinct risks on the road. Nicolet Law's efforts at the State Fair reflect a broader trend of law firms moving away from impersonal advertising toward community-based relationship building.
Nicolet Law looks forward to future years of greeting fairgoers at the State Fair and offering the chance to say hello and learn about the firm. With 28 offices across Wisconsin, Minnesota, North Dakota, Iowa, and Indiana, the firm represents people injured in car, truck, and motorcycle crashes, wrongful death claims, and other negligence-based cases, handling each matter with direct attention and clear communication. Guided by its "Be Kind. Do Good." philosophy, Nicolet Law is active in the communities it serves through scholarships, charitable giving, and local events.
