Nevada Organic Phosphate Eyes U.S. $1 Billion Sustainable Farming Investment as Catalyst

Nevada Organic Phosphate Inc. (CSE: NOP; OTCQB: NOPFF) announced that the United States will invest more than $1 billion in research supporting new and sustainable farm practices, following an additional $200 million in funding, according to a joint statement from the Environmental Protection Agency, United States Department of Agriculture and United States Department of Health and Human Services, as reported by Reuters on Feb. 27, 2026. The Company said the federal funding initiative could support organic fertilizer development and sustainable agriculture projects, potentially benefiting advancement of its Murdock Mountain organic raw rock phosphate property through increased market demand, research partnerships, regulatory alignment and access to sustainability-focused grants and incentives.

Nevada Organic Phosphate is a junior exploration company with an organic sedimentary raw rock phosphate bed, 6.6 kilometres long, in northeast Nevada. Additional applications extend the potential strike of rock phosphate to over 30 kilometres. This is believed to be the only known large-scale organic sedimentary phosphate project in North America. It is situated close to the main highway to Montello/Elko, Nevada, and near the rail head to California.

The $1 billion federal initiative represents a significant tailwind for sustainable agriculture, aligning with Nevada Organic Phosphate’s focus on organic fertilizer production. The company’s Murdock Mountain property could benefit from increased research partnerships and regulatory alignment under the new funding. As the U.S. government prioritizes sustainable farming practices, organic phosphate fertilizers may see heightened demand, positioning Nevada Organic Phosphate to capitalize on this trend. Access to sustainability-focused grants and incentives could also accelerate development of the project, which claims to be North America’s only large-scale organic sedimentary phosphate deposit.

Investors should note that the recent funding announcement underscores a broader shift toward environmentally friendly agricultural inputs. For more details on Nevada Organic Phosphate, visit the company’s newsroom at https://ibn.fm/NOP. The full press release is available at https://ibn.fm/BdoEV.
