The Museum of Fine Arts, Boston (MFA), one of the nation's most celebrated art museums, has joined the Boston CityPASS program as of March, offering travelers a cost-effective way to experience the museum along with other top attractions. Founded in 1870, the MFA houses more than half a million works spanning cultures and centuries, including masterpieces such as Pierre-Auguste Renoir's Dance at Bougival and John Singer Sargent's The Daughters of Edward Darley Boit. The museum's Ancient Egyptian collection features monumental works like the Statue of Menkaura and Queen, and its Japanese holdings are among the largest outside Japan. With the MFA now included, CityPASS ticket holders can choose from four attractions among options such as the New England Aquarium, Museum of Science, Boston Harbor City Cruises, View Boston Observation Deck, Franklin Park Zoo, and Harvard Museum of Natural History.
