MAX Power Mining Engages GLJ Ltd. to Advance Commercial Evaluation of Lawson Natural Hydrogen Project

MAX Power Mining Corp. (CSE: MAXX; OTC: MAXXF; FRANKFURT: 89N) announced it has retained GLJ Ltd., a Calgary-based energy consulting firm, to support the commercial evaluation of the company's Lawson Natural Hydrogen system in Saskatchewan. The move follows 3D seismic results that significantly expanded the project's interpreted scale, underscoring the potential for a major discovery in the emerging natural hydrogen sector.

GLJ will focus on resource modeling, development potential, and optimization of an expanded drill program targeting natural hydrogen and helium across the 28-square-kilometer Lawson Complex. The consulting firm will also contribute to the development of MAX Power's AI-driven MAXX LEMI platform, which aims to streamline exploration efforts. This engagement marks a critical step in advancing the project toward potential commercialization.

The Lawson Discovery, located near Central Butte, Saskatchewan, represents Canada's first-ever subsurface natural hydrogen system confirmed through deep drilling, with data validated by three independent labs. MAX Power has built a dominant district-scale land position across Saskatchewan, with approximately 1.3 million acres of permits and an additional 5.7 million acres under application. These holdings cover prime exploration ground prospective for large-volume accumulations of natural hydrogen.

The company's focus on natural hydrogen aligns with the global shift toward decarbonization. Natural hydrogen, also known as white hydrogen, is a zero-carbon energy source that could play a pivotal role in the transition to clean energy. Unlike hydrogen produced from fossil fuels, natural hydrogen is extracted directly from subsurface reservoirs, offering a potentially low-cost and environmentally friendly alternative.

In addition to its hydrogen assets, MAX Power holds a portfolio of properties in the United States and Canada focused on critical minerals. These include the Willcox Playa Lithium Project in southeast Arizona, where the company made a diamond drilling discovery in 2024. The project is 100%-owned by MAX Power's U.S. subsidiary.

The engagement of GLJ Ltd. is expected to provide independent expertise in resource estimation and development planning, which will be crucial for attracting further investment and advancing the Lawson project toward production.
