MAX Power Mining Advances Natural Hydrogen Program with Third Validation Well at Lawson Complex

MAX Power Mining Corp. (CSE: MAXX; OTC: MAXXF; FRANKFURT: 89N) has announced that commercial validation drilling has advanced to the Lawson 3 well, following the successful casing of Lawson 2. This progress further supports the presence of a large natural hydrogen system at the 28-square-kilometer Lawson Complex in Saskatchewan, Canada.

The Lawson 3 well is being drilled approximately 2.2 kilometers east of Lawson 2 and 1.2 kilometers south of the original Lawson 1 discovery. This positioning is intended to help triangulate the deposit for geological modeling being conducted by GLJ Ltd. The company plans to integrate data from the first two wells to determine the optimal location for Lawson 4, with completion testing and a potential production well to follow.

Lawson 2 recorded approximately 860 meters of continuous natural hydrogen readings, the strongest measurements to date at the project, while also confirming an extensive fracture system and favorable source rocks. The well reached a total depth of 2,440 meters and recovered 120 meters of core, including a record 89.2 meters from the Precambrian basement complex for a single Saskatchewan well.

Management stated that the ongoing drilling program is designed to evaluate the scale and continuity of what the company believes could become the world's first large-scale commercial natural hydrogen system. The program also aims to strengthen the geological model across its broader 1,852-square-kilometer Lawson and Aurora project portfolio.

This development is significant because natural hydrogen, also known as white hydrogen, is a clean energy source that could play a crucial role in the transition to a low-carbon economy. If successfully developed, the Lawson Complex could become a pioneering site for commercial natural hydrogen production, potentially influencing global energy markets and investment in the sector.
