Masters of Trivia, a global knowledge-gaming platform, today announced Global Tournaments: Year of the Horse, a Lunar New Year–themed trivia event designed for web and mobile web players worldwide. The tournament, scheduled for March 1, 2026, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time (17:00 GMT), invites participants to answer 30 timed, multiple-choice questions focused on Year of the Horse traditions, history, and symbolism. Registration and full rules are available at the tournament headquarters.
The event includes a 1,000 MOT token prize purse for top performers, plus three in-kind prizes: handcrafted horse sculptures carved from cedar and agar wood by a 7th-generation artist based in Hoi An, Vietnam. "Lunar New Year inspires curiosity about culture, stories, and tradition," said Dom Einhorn, founder of Masters of Trivia. "Year of the Horse turns that curiosity into a global competition - learn, compete, and see how much you really know."
Global Tournaments are structured as seasonal, tournament-style experiences intended to serve multiple audiences: education and learning through culturally inspired questions that encourage discovery; lifestyle and culture with a timely Lunar New Year theme and zodiac storytelling; technology and mobile gaming through cross-platform access, timed play, and global leaderboards; and growth and community via creator partnerships and performance-based affiliates supporting tournament participation.
The Masters of Trivia rewards ecosystem is powered by the MOT token (MOT39052-USD), built on the Solana blockchain (SOL-USD). The project’s primary liquidity is concentrated in the MOT/SOL trading pair, which supports token access and on-chain market activity for participants in the Masters of Trivia ecosystem.
