Lifespan Edge Expands Longevity Clinics to Florida and Maryland, Bringing Personalized Care to New Markets

Lifespan Edge, a longevity clinic co-founded by futurist John Mauldin and preventive medicine pioneer Dr. Michael Roizen, has announced the opening of two new locations in West Palm Beach, Florida, and Columbia, Maryland, with a third destination planned for Scottsdale, Arizona. The expansion underscores the company's mission to make personalized, evidence-based longevity care more accessible, bridging cutting-edge research with individualized clinical care.

Founded in 2024, Lifespan Edge aims to help individuals optimize healthspan, cognitive vitality, and quality of life through proactive, prevention-focused strategies. “Healthcare should not begin when disease appears, it should begin decades earlier,” said Dr. Michael Roizen, COB and Co-Founder. “Our goal is to help people understand that many of the factors influencing how they age are modifiable.”

The new locations include a clinic at 2528 Okeechobee Blvd. in West Palm Beach, Florida, and another at 10700 Charter Drive, Suite 200 in Columbia, Maryland. A premier luxury wellness destination is also planned for Scottsdale, Arizona, designed to serve clients from across the United States and abroad. Each site offers a concierge-style experience combining advanced diagnostics, physician-guided evaluations, and personalized strategies focused on prevention, performance, and healthy aging.

Interest in longevity medicine has accelerated as consumers seek proactive approaches to maintaining cognitive function, metabolic health, and physical resilience. Rather than treating disease after symptoms appear, Lifespan Edge emphasizes early risk identification and individualized plans. John Mauldin, President and Co-Founder, stated, “We founded Lifespan Edge because we saw an opportunity to bring together leading physicians, science-driven medicine, and personalized care under one roof.”

A key area of scientific interest is Therapeutic Plasma Exchange (TPE), a procedure being investigated for potential applications in aging and neurodegenerative disease. Notable research includes the AMBAR (Alzheimer Management by Albumin Replacement) clinical trial, which evaluated plasma exchange with albumin replacement in patients with mild-to-moderate Alzheimer’s disease. Published findings reported that the intervention showed promise in slowing decline in certain cognitive and functional measures, though additional research is needed.

Dr. Roizen has long advocated that biological age can differ from chronological age, influenced by lifestyle choices such as nutrition, physical activity, stress management, and social connection. “People have more influence over their future health than they often realize,” he said. “The decisions we make every day can have profound effects over time.”

The expansion comes amid national recognition for Lifespan Edge’s leadership. Dr. Roizen was recently featured in Entrepreneur and TopDoctor Magazine, where he discussed his vision for longevity science and the importance of persistence and personalized care.

With additional locations planned, Lifespan Edge aims to redefine aging by providing evidence-informed strategies for longer, healthier lives. The company currently has four open locations in Dallas, Texas; Dorado, Puerto Rico; West Palm Beach, Florida; and Columbia, Maryland, with Scottsdale, Arizona, coming soon.
