LataMed AI Corp. (OTC: LMED), a healthcare technology company specializing in digital health and artificial intelligence solutions for Latin America, announced today that its Venezuelan subsidiary, LATAMEDAI VE, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with pharmacy chain FARMASER to develop a customized automation platform. The platform aims to support FARMASER’s current operations and its planned expansion from three to up to 18 locations.
Under the MOU, the parties will collaborate on designing, adapting, testing, and evaluating a software platform tailored to FARMASER’s operational workflows. The proposed platform will integrate e-commerce, prescription management, customer service, inventory planning, and business analytics. Additionally, LataMed AI will evaluate the integration of its AI-supported healthcare technologies—CardioAI, PulmoAI, and NeuroAI—across FARMASER’s pharmacy network. These tools are intended to assist in cardiovascular, pulmonary, and neurological health assessments, though they are not designed to replace the judgment of pharmacists or medical professionals.

The parties are also considering an annual software licensing or subscription model for commercial implementation, though terms remain subject to further agreement.
Management believes the proposed collaboration could enhance access to healthcare services in the region. However, the MOU does not guarantee successful completion or revenue generation. The company cautioned that the integration of AI technologies and the opening of additional FARMASER locations are subject to development, testing, regulatory approvals, and commercial agreements.
