Lahontan Gold Reports Promising Initial Assays from 2025 Drilling at West Santa Fe Project

Lahontan Gold Corp. (TSXV: LG) (OTCQB: LGCXF) has released the first assay results from its 2025 maiden reverse-circulation drilling program at the West Santa Fe Project in Nevada's Walker Lane. The company reported a shallow, thick intercept of oxide gold and silver mineralization that confirms historic drilling results, highlighting the potential for a near-surface disseminated gold-silver system.

Key results from hole WSF25-06R include 54.9 meters grading 1.00 g/t gold equivalent, which includes a higher-grade interval of 16.8 meters grading 1.75 g/t gold equivalent. Notably, the mineralization is silver-rich, with individual intercepts returning up to 176 g/t silver. These intercepts occur at shallow depths, which bodes well for potential future mining economics.

Lahontan Gold CEO Kimberly Ann noted that the results validate the company's exploration model and support the advancement of the West Santa Fe Project alongside its nearby Santa Fe Mine Project. The Santa Fe Mine, which produced 359,202 ounces of gold and 702,067 ounces of silver between 1988 and 1995 from open-pit heap-leach operations, currently holds a NI 43-101 compliant Indicated Mineral Resource of 1,539,000 oz Au Eq and an Inferred Mineral Resource of 411,000 oz Au Eq.

The company plans to continue drilling at West Santa Fe during 2025 while updating the Preliminary Economic Assessment for the Santa Fe Mine. The technical content of this release has been reviewed by Michael Lindholm, CPG, an independent consulting geologist and Qualified Person under NI 43-101.
