The KKR-led consortium, including Singtel, has completed its acquisition of STTGDC, a leading data centre platform, and the company has launched a refreshed global brand to signal its next phase of growth. The transaction provides STTGDC with long-term capital and increased financial flexibility, while maintaining continuity in leadership and strategy.

STTGDC's President and Group CEO, Bruno Lopez, described the completion as the most important turning point in the company's evolution since its founding over 12 years ago. He emphasized that the investment from the consortium enhances the company's capacity to grow and execute at scale, while staying true to the values and customer commitment that have defined STTGDC.

The refreshed brand, anchored in the concept of 'Built Ready', reflects the company's focus on delivering reliable, resilient, and AI-ready infrastructure across Asia, the UK, and Europe. This comes as STTGDC reports strong operating momentum, with operational capacity increasing by 25% to 780MW since the end of 2025, contracted capacity growing by 50%, and annualised EBITDA rising by 30%.

The company's growth strategy remains focused on markets where customer requirements, power availability, and long-term fundamentals align. With close to 2GW of powered land secured for assets under construction and pipeline development, STTGDC is well positioned to convert demand into delivered capacity. In India, the company operates 34 data centres across 10 cities with over 613MW of IT capacity. In Indonesia, it is expanding its Jakarta campus with a development pipeline of more than 360MW of AI-ready capacity. Singapore remains strategically important, and STTGDC has been selected to develop 50MW of sustainable, AI-ready capacity.

Responsible growth remains integral to STTGDC's operations. The company has sourced 83.2% of its electricity from renewable energy, surpassing its 2028 carbon intensity reduction target three years ahead of schedule. As AI transforms the data centre landscape, STTGDC's 'Built Ready' approach underscores its commitment to delivering critical infrastructure reliably and sustainably.
