iToolShare, a developer of desktop multimedia solutions, has announced a major upgrade to its iToolShare Blu-ray Player for Windows. The update introduces a standalone 3D Anaglyph playback engine and full support for both HDMV and BD-J interactive menus, addressing the needs of physical media collectors and home theater enthusiasts.
The new 3D Anaglyph Mode enables real-time 3D rendering using red-cyan glasses, compatible with standard integrated laptop graphics cards, eliminating the need for specialized hardware. Additionally, the player now natively reconstructs intricate HDMV and BD-J menus, giving users full interactive control over disc extras, commentary tracks, and multi-angle scenes.
Key features include a "Play Any Disc" architecture that handles encrypted commercial Blu-rays, BDMV folders, and ISO files; Windows 11 native display mapping for optimized HDR10+ to SDR color conversion; and re-engineered audio stability to resolve initialization conflicts. The update ensures smooth performance across diverse system architectures, including emerging Windows on ARM ecosystems.
According to Tim, Product Lead at iToolShare, the engineering focus was to bridge the gap between complex legacy disc structures and modern desktop environments. By perfecting BD-J menu navigation and ensuring smooth performance, the player delivers a premium experience that media collectors expect.
