HKTDC’s Seven Lifestyle and Licensing Mega Events Converge to Showcase Innovation, Sustainability, and Global Connectivity

The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will launch seven major lifestyle and licensing events from April 27 to 30, 2026, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) and AsiaWorld-Expo. The concurrent fairs include the Hong Kong Gifts & Premium Fair, Home InStyle, Fashion InStyle, Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair, DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong, Hong Kong International Licensing Show, and Asian Licensing Conference. These events collectively aim to leverage Hong Kong’s unique connectivity between the Chinese Mainland and international markets, aligning with the national 15th Five-Year Plan and dual circulation strategy.

This year’s exhibitions introduce several new features, including a Reimagine themed floor at HKCEC Hall 5 that seamlessly integrates the Gifts & Premium Fair and Home InStyle, offering buyers a one-stop overview of global lifestyle homeware and gifting trends. Additionally, the Hong Kong International Licensing Show debuts an “IP and e-Commerce Support Services” Zone, bringing together e-commerce platforms, KOLs, and marketing firms to help brands expand into online markets. The events also emphasize sustainability, with over 820 green exhibitors and approximately 80 exhibitors showcasing innovative materials for houseware, home textiles, fashion, printing, and packaging.

HKTDC Deputy Executive Director Jenny Koo highlighted the role of these events in facilitating trade and reinforcing Hong Kong’s position as a super connector and super value-adder. “Buyers can enjoy a one-stop sourcing experience across all fairs, fostering cross-industry and cross-sectoral exchanges, generating greater synergies, and helping expand customer bases and business opportunities,” she said.

The fairs are expected to attract some 5,600 exhibitors from more than 30 countries and regions, including first-time participants from Finland, Germany, Iceland, the United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan. New pavilions from Chinese provinces such as Xinjiang, Wuhan, Shanxi, Jilin, Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, and Zhejiang will also be featured. The Zhejiang pavilion, organized for the first time by the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, brings together 50 local enterprises.

Home InStyle will showcase innovative materials for homeware and home textiles for the first time, with the Gerontech and Innovative Material Pavilion funded by the Innovation and Technology Commission. This pavilion responds to global ageing trends by featuring gerontechnology living products and smart technologies. Fashion InStyle’s highlighted zone, NEXT@Fashion InStyle, returns with the Philippines as the featured partner, showcasing over 25 Philippine exhibitors and materials from Nordic countries including Iceland, Finland, and Sweden.

The Printing & Packaging Fair introduces new products in smart packaging and innovative materials, with a spotlight on RFID and anti-counterfeiting technologies. DeLuxe PrintPack Hong Kong focuses on premium printing and packaging for high-end goods such as jewellery and cosmetics. The Licensing Show presents over 600 brands and IPs, including Bandai Namco, Doraemon, and LINE FRIENDS, and features the DLAB Hong Kong Pavilion with close to 40 local IPs.

The concurrent Asian Licensing Conference, themed “Connecting Creativity, Unlocking Licensing Power,” will explore global licensing trends, the emotional economy, sports licensing, and VTubers. All events adopt the EXHIBITION+ hybrid format, utilizing AI-driven tools like Click2Match, Scan2Match, and an on-site SmartBot to enhance sourcing efficiency.
