The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will host its five summer fairs from August 13 to 17 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, with a unified theme of 'Live Well. Stay Well'. This year marks a significant expansion in international participation. For the first time, all ASEAN member states will be represented, including debut exhibitors from Brunei and Timor-Leste. The Agricultural Trade Promotion Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of China has organized delegations from multiple provinces to promote premium agricultural products, leveraging Hong Kong as a gateway to global markets. The Korea Pavilion has expanded by 40% to host over 130 exhibitors, making it the largest overseas pavilion.
Food Expo PRO introduces a new 'Meat Zone' to cater to rising demand for premium meats, featuring products like Korean frozen marinated barbecue that can be prepared in three minutes and halal-certified beef tendon balls from a local Hong Kong brand entering the B2B market. The 'Coffee Zone' returns with a more international lineup, including exhibitors from Yunnan, Colombia, Macao, Myanmar, Thailand, and the United States. A 'Food Science and Technology Zone' will highlight alternative proteins and intelligent food-service robots, while the Food Tech Symposium will explore technology's role in healthier lifestyles. For the first time, pet food products will be featured, with a Hong Kong exhibitor using patented packaging to preserve nutrition without preservatives or cold-chain logistics. Halal food offerings continue to grow, with over 130 exhibitors participating.
The Hong Kong International Tea Fair will showcase rare teas, including first-flush Kunlu Mountain purple bud pu'er from Yunnan, and debut pavilions for Chinese Mainland Matcha and Yixing Zisha teaware. New 'TeaLifestyle' zone introduces innovative products like sparkling tea and tea-based cocktails. The Hong Kong International Tea Culture Forum will discuss internationalization of Chinese tea brands.
The five themed days—'Happy Eat Happy Life', 'The World in Blink', 'Coffee or Tea', 'Stay Fresh, Stay Ahead', and 'Let's Chill'—will feature chef demonstrations, health seminars, and wellness activities. The Food Expo will present a new Dessert and Gelato theme, with over 100 dessert products, including low-fat gelato made with patented mushroom extract. The Gourmet Zone celebrates its 15th edition with 15 celebrity chefs and a commemorative recipe book.
The Beauty & Wellness Expo introduces 'Stay Relax' zone with red-light therapy capsules and medicated balms, alongside the popular 'Scentsation' zone featuring the Xuelei Fragrance Museum's interactive experience. The Home Delights Expo focuses on quality sleep and smart living, with the Sleep Health Association launching 'Go Sleep Exp' and HKT offering smart home discounts up to 70%.
The International Conference on the Modernization of Chinese Medicine and Health Products, expanded to three days, will feature over 30 speakers discussing regulatory policies and global pathways. Public education displays and forums on Chinese medicine will also be held.
