The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will stage the Fashion Hong Kong professional showroom in Paris from 24 to 28 June, marking its first collaboration with Hong Kong Air Cargo Terminals Limited (Hactl) as strategic partner. Held during Paris Men's Fashion Week, the initiative will feature Hong Kong designer brands showcasing their Spring/Summer 2027 collections, helping them expand their international footprint.
The showroom, located at 4 Rue de la Paix in Paris' renowned fashion district, will display apparel and fashion accessories from brands including Kinks Lab, MARCCH, and MATTER MATTERS. Notably, MARCCH and MATTER MATTERS will debut collaborative pieces created with Paris-based artist Yaz Bukey, blending Hong Kong design with European creativity. A networking reception on 27 June is expected to attract around 200 industry professionals, media, and buyers, fostering connections and business opportunities.
This initiative marks the first cross-sector collaboration between HKTDC and Hactl, highlighting Hong Kong's strength in integrating creative industries with professional services. By combining HKTDC's international promotional platform with Hactl's logistics expertise, the partnership supports Hong Kong brands in exploring new markets. Amid growing global emphasis on speed, connectivity, and sustainability in fashion, the collaboration underscores Hong Kong's innovative approach to integrating creativity, commerce, and services, helping local brands meet market expectations and expand internationally.
Through the Fashion Hong Kong event series, HKTDC provides comprehensive international promotion support, enabling local brands to connect with overseas buyers, media, and industry players. The programme includes exhibitions, business matching, and promotional activities to facilitate direct engagement with global markets, unlocking new business opportunities and solidifying Hong Kong's role as an East-meets-West cultural exchange hub.
