Greenland Mines Completes Skaergaard Development Planning Workshop

Greenland Mines (NASDAQ: GRML) announced the completion of a three-day planning workshop for its Skaergaard Precious and Critical Metals Project in southeast Greenland. The workshop, held June 22-24, brought together more than 15 international experts from GTK Mintec, the Geological Survey of Finland, SLR Consulting, WSP Denmark and other technical specialists. The sessions focused on advancing understanding of the orebody and processing pathways, planning 2026 drilling, sampling and environmental programs, and establishing a roadmap toward an Initial Assessment or Preliminary Economic Assessment and future development.

The company said the workshop produced an integrated plan for the 2026 field campaign, a refined metallurgical testing strategy, a framework for incorporating geotechnical and environmental data into mine design and permitting, and a long-term development roadmap extending toward a potential exploitation license. Greenland Mines noted the workshop builds on its existing collaborations with GTK Mintec, WSP Denmark and SLR Consulting and reflects its strategy of engaging leading international technical experts to advance the Skaergaard project.

The Skaergaard Project is a significant precious and critical metals asset in Greenland, a region gaining attention for its resource potential amid global supply chain diversification efforts. The workshop's outcome is crucial for de-risking the project and moving it toward feasibility, which could position Greenland as a key supplier of metals like platinum group elements and critical minerals. This development aligns with broader industry trends toward securing domestic and allied sources of critical minerals, as highlighted by recent U.S. and European policies.

Greenland Mines operates with two divisions: Mining, focused on the Skaergaard Project and the pending Sarfartoq rare earths project in southwest Greenland; and Biotech, including Klotho’s KLTO-202 primary indication for ALS. The company's strategy is centered on building a multi-asset platform with exposure to rare earth magnet materials, precious metals and selected midstream processing opportunities, while advancing its broader North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor vision linking Greenland resources with allied downstream jurisdictions and industrial infrastructure.
