(NASDAQ: GRML) has issued a shareholder letter from President Dr. Bo Møller Stensgaard, detailing significant strides in its mining operations, including the completion of the Sarfartoq neodymium-praseodymium rare earths project acquisition on September 1 and ongoing development at the Skaergaard palladium-gold-platinum project. The Sarfartoq acquisition, which closed after the company rebranded in March, marks a cornerstone of Greenland Mines' portfolio. An independent Initial Assessment cited a high-case pre-tax net present value of approximately $2.05 billion and an internal rate of return of 118.6%, inclusive of Indicated and Inferred Mineral Resources. The project boasts an updated estimate of 6.9 million tonnes of Indicated resources at 1.60% total rare earth oxides (TREO) and 5.3 million tonnes of Inferred resources at 0.96% TREO. Notably, Neo Performance Materials, a strategic shareholder, holds offtake rights for up to 60% of future Sarfartoq production, securing a market for the project's output and validating its commercial viability.

At Skaergaard, Greenland Mines' July 2026 Technical Report Summary, prepared under S-K 1300 guidelines, revealed a 36% increase in Indicated palladium-equivalent (PdEq) grade and a 31% rise in contained Indicated PdEq ounces compared with the 2022 estimate. The company is currently executing a 2026 field program that includes drilling, bulk sampling, geotechnical work, environmental baseline studies, and surveys. Bulk material from the project is slated for metallurgical and processing flowsheet testing at GTK Mintec in Finland, a crucial step toward optimizing extraction methods and de-risking the development pathway.

Looking ahead, Greenland Mines has outlined its remaining 2026 milestones: advancing Sarfartoq toward targeted infill drilling and a pre-feasibility study, moving Skaergaard toward an initial assessment that evaluates a mining scenario, and continuing to develop its broader North Atlantic Critical Metals Corridor strategy. This corridor aims to link Greenland's mineral resources with allied downstream jurisdictions and industrial infrastructure, positioning the company as a reliable supplier in the global supply chain for critical metals.
