Grafton Resources Initiates Heliborne Geophysical Survey at Alicahue Gold-Copper Project in Chile

Grafton Resources Inc. (CSE: GFT; OTCQB: GFTFF; FSE: K8L0) announced that Expert Geophysics Surveys Inc. has started an 80 line-kilometre mobile magnetotelluric (MobileMT) heliborne survey at the Alicahue Gold-Copper Project in Valparaiso, Chile. The survey is expected to be completed within a day, with interpreted results anticipated in March 2026.

MobileMT is a leading geophysical technology designed to identify subsurface geologic structures, alteration halos, and contrasting lithologies. Complementary VLF-EM data will provide near-surface electromagnetic information, enhancing resolution of shallow features. The combined methods aim to identify deep-seated faults, lithological contacts, and structures controlling mineral systems from the surface to depths of approximately 1 km to 2 km, depending on local geology conductivity.

Campbell Smyth, Chairman of the Company, stated, "We expect the MobileMT data will provide a three-dimensional image of the Alicahue Project area. We hope the survey will assist us in tracing the outline of a possible porphyry centre in the southeast concession and help vector towards the origin of the IOCG vein systems and possible feeder zones to gold and copper vein mineralization mapped in the area. MobileMT is known for identifying areas of electrically conductive sulphides potentially linked to mineralized porphyry intrusive centres, and resistive bodies representative of intrusions."

The Alicahue Gold-Copper Project covers a large area in a mineral-rich region of Chile. The survey results will guide the company's exploration efforts, potentially revealing new targets for drilling. Grafton Resources is focused on discovering and developing mineral assets in the Americas, and this survey represents a key step in advancing the Alicahue Project.
