Bestselling author Gina Iafrate has announced the release of her latest romantic fiction novel, Love And Betrayal, now available in print and ebook formats on Amazon. This book is the third installment in Iafrate's Strong Women series, following The Professor's Daughter.
Love And Betrayal continues the story of Gracy, who initially believes she has found eternal love with Alvaro. However, as the marriage progresses, his unfaithfulness and broken vows lead to pain and suffering. The narrative delves into how Alvaro's behavior, influenced by greed, jealousy, and revenge, brings catastrophic consequences. Gracy's emotional journey of survival becomes a central theme as she faces solitude and despair. With the intervention of caring people, she eventually rediscovers love, peace, and support, finding comfort until the end of her life.
This novel follows The Professor's Daughter, the sequel to Iafrate's award-winning book The English Professor. Set in Italy, The Professor's Daughter introduces Gracy Robertson as the love child of an intense affair. Taken from her dying mother at birth, she is raised in hiding by her devastated father, the English professor, to avoid corrupt mobsters who caused her mother's death. After the threat subsides, they seek peace at the place where her parents' love began. But when the professor dies, Gracy must overcome grief and navigate a new life across the ocean, where she finds love but faces threats that test her resolve.
Iafrate's Strong Women series focuses on characters who overcome staggering odds to build resilient lives. Her writing, compared to authors like Nicholas Sparks and John Grisham, offers richly detailed family sagas that transport readers to exotic locales. Other books in the series include The Girl From The Cornfield, which follows Giuliana Ferrante from a 1950s Italian village to a successful legal career after a traumatic attack, and Bestowed By Love And Splendour, about a broken-hearted wife who finds peace on the island of Sardinia.
In addition to her novels, Iafrate has published Releases From My Soul, a collection of anthologies blending true stories with fiction. She is currently working on her seventh novel, The Shoeless Boy. Iafrate, who writes in both Italian and English, divides her time between Hollywood, Florida; Niagara, Ontario; and Europe. Her works have been exhibited at the Pier 21 Museum in Halifax and featured in Phoenix Magazine, The Horizon, and Author's Voice. She is a 2016 Book Excellence Award Finalist.
