GEA Reports Profitable Growth in 2025, Achieves Climate Targets Early, Forecasts Accelerated Revenue Growth in 2026

GEA Group AG reported its 2025 financial results, highlighting profitable growth across all divisions and early achievement of key climate targets. The technology company's order intake rose 6.7% to EUR 5.9 billion, with organic growth of 9.1%, driven by large contracts and service business expansion. Revenue increased 1.4% to EUR 5.5 billion, with organic growth of 3.7% at the upper end of guidance. EBITDA before restructuring expenses grew 8.4% to EUR 907 million, lifting the margin to 16.5%, above the upgraded forecast. Net working capital improved to 3.2% of revenue, and free cash flow reached EUR 512 million.

The company made progress on all six Mission 30 growth drivers. Sustainable technologies now account for over 45% of revenue, and digital solutions and alternative proteins businesses expanded. GEA also reduced Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas emissions by 62% compared to 2019, exceeding its 2026 interim target a year early. The proposed dividend rises to EUR 1.30 per share.

CEO Stefan Klebert said: "2025 was a very successful year for GEA. Against the broader trend, we increased order intake substantially, achieved key climate goals ahead of schedule, and further improved profitability. This year, we will accelerate our growth trajectory." The company entered the DAX index in September and secured one of its largest orders, for a milk powder plant in Algeria worth EUR 140-170 million. GEA also streamlined its organizational structure into four divisions to boost flexibility.

For 2026, GEA expects organic revenue growth of 5.0-7.0% and an EBITDA margin before restructuring expenses of 16.6-17.2%. The company targets ROCE between 34.0% and 38.0%. The strong order backlog, agile organization, and demand for sustainable solutions underpin the outlook.
