Fitzroy Minerals Inc. (TSXV: FTZ, OTCQB: FTZFF) announced the start of a 750 line-kilometre heliborne mobile magnetotelluric (MobileMT) survey at its Caballos Copper Project in Valparaiso, Chile. The survey, conducted by Expert Geophysics Surveys Inc., is expected to be completed within two days, with interpreted results anticipated in March 2026.
MobileMT is a leading geophysical technology that helps identify subsurface geologic structures, alteration halos, and contrasting lithologies. The survey will also collect complementary VLF-EM data to enhance near-surface electromagnetic information. The combination of these methods is expected to detect deep-seated faults, lithological contacts, and structures controlling mineral systems from the surface to depths of approximately 1 to 2 kilometers, depending on local conductivity.

He added that MobileMT is known for identifying electrically conductive sulphides potentially linked to mineralized porphyry intrusive centers and resistive bodies representative of intrusions.
