The Exit Planning Institute (EPI) Kansas City Chapter is set to host its Business Owner Forum on September 2nd from 7:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Sheraton Convention Center in Overland Park, Kansas. This event aims to bring together business owners and top exit planning professionals for open discussions on real-world challenges and opportunities facing business owners today.
According to Mark Kipp, President of EPI Kansas City, the forum is designed to offer actionable advice and real-life conversations, with no product pitches or sales presentations. The agenda focuses on strategies for value acceleration and operational growth, catering to entrepreneurs and executives navigating growth, mergers, acquisitions, or planning an eventual exit, along with their advisors.
Business owner attendees will gain insights from experienced advisors and business leaders to improve long-term business strategy and decision-making. Meanwhile, exit planning professionals, including financial advisors and business consultants, will have the opportunity to hear directly from Kansas City-area owners on topics that matter to them today.
The event is part of EPI's broader mission, which began in 2005, to serve professional business advisors' educational and resource needs. EPI's Certified Exit Planning Advisor (CEPA®) credential program is the most widely endorsed professional exit planning program in the world, providing advisors with content, tools, and training to become their clients' most valued advisors.

This forum underscores the importance of proactive exit planning and value creation for business owners, as well as the value of connecting with trusted advisors who can guide them through complex decisions. By facilitating these conversations, EPI Kansas City is helping to strengthen the local business community and ensure that owners are better prepared for the future.
