The eighth edition of the International Conference and Exhibition Desalination Latin America is set to take place on June 17-18, 2026, in Santiago, Chile. Organized by Vostock Capital, the event has become a hub for strategy development, investment attraction, and partnership growth in the desalination industry. Over the past seven years, the congress has brought together experts, delivered major projects, and established a platform for meaningful dialogue among key stakeholders.
This year's conference will address pressing challenges in desalination and unveil projects driving sustainable transformation in Latin America. The event will feature keynote regular participants including major water utilities such as Aguas de Antofagasta, Econssa, Esval, and Cramsa, as well as mining giants like Codelco, Anglo American, Antofagasta Minerals, Southern Perú Copper Corporation, and Teck Resources. Governmental bodies and desalination programs from Chile, including the Ministry of Mining and the General Directorate of Water (MOP), will also participate, alongside international financial institutions such as CAF – Development Bank of Latin America, BID Invest, and ProInversión Perú.
The conference expects over 300 delegates from the desalination industry, including C-level executives and directors of leading desalination utilities, representatives from international financial institutions, government officials, regulators, and public-private partnership units. Additionally, renewable integration developers, digital and AI solution providers, O&M innovators, legal advisors, project financiers, and infrastructure investment funds specializing in desalination will be in attendance.

A key focus of the event will be investment projects in the region. These include desalination for mining expansion programs in Chile, the Northern Chile Water Supply Corridor integrating multi-user desalination pipelines, Peru Coastal Desalination PPPs in Lima, Ilo, and southern industrial clusters, Chile’s renewable-powered desalination projects featuring solar- and wind-integrated SWRO plants, and regional brine valorization and circular economy initiatives involving lithium and salt recovery. Upcoming 2026–2027 bidding rounds in Chile and Peru will introduce new PPPs and multi-client desalination hubs.
In addition to the main conference, two exclusive technical site visits will be held in Spain for professionals seeking to strengthen their expertise in advanced desalination techniques. The first visit, to the AcuaMed Desalination Plant in Murcia, is scheduled for May 13–14, 2026 (registration details).
