Debt.com is set to announce the winner of the Best Spanish-Language Financial Content Creator category at the 2026 FinTalk Awards, an honor that underscores the growing importance of accessible financial education for the Hispanic community in the United States. The category recognizes creators who use digital platforms to help Hispanics better understand saving, investing, debt management, and financial planning. Public voting remains open through October 9, with participants allowed up to three votes per day.
The five nominees are María Mercedes Velasquez, Daniela Salazar, Alex of MoneyAcción, Elizabeth Inciarte, and Xavier Serbia. Velasquez, a certified public accountant, focuses on helping women over 40 achieve financial freedom. Salazar, known as NeuroDany, is an author and educator on investing and personal finance. MoneyAcción uses humor to explain financial topics. Inciarte aims to show that investing is possible without being a millionaire. Serbia brings over two decades of experience explaining complex economic concepts clearly.
Debt.com created the FinTalk Awards to recognize creators and institutions transforming financial education. The Spanish-language category addresses a community where clear, culturally relevant information is crucial. "For millions of Hispanics in the United States, having access to clear and trustworthy financial education in Spanish can make a real difference in how they manage their money and build their financial future," said Don Silvestri, President of Debt.com. "We are excited to see a new generation of creators using digital platforms to break down barriers, simplify complex topics, and empower our community to make better financial decisions."
The awards have previously recognized Rey Martínez in 2025 and Juan Sánchez in 2024. The winner will be announced on October 9, 2026. Consumers can learn more about the nominees and vote on the official Spanish-language 2026 FinTalk Awards page. This initiative matters because it highlights the role of digital creators in bridging financial literacy gaps and empowering Hispanic families to make informed decisions, ultimately fostering economic stability and upward mobility.
