Co-Diagnostics Expands CoSara Distribution Territory Across South Asia, Targeting $13 Billion Market

Co-Diagnostics, Inc. (NASDAQ: CODX) announced that its Indian joint venture, CoSara Diagnostics Pvt. Ltd., has signed an agreement to expand its commercial and distribution territory across South Asia to include Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka. This expansion significantly increases its addressable market to an estimated $13.0 billion, according to the press release.

The expansion supports the planned commercialization of the CoSara PCR Pro(R) point-of-care platform and SARAGENE(R) product line, subject to regulatory approvals. As the company builds regional distribution channels, it positions for broader deployment of its molecular diagnostics solutions. The move is a strategic step to penetrate underserved markets in the region, where affordable and accurate diagnostics are in high demand.

Co-Diagnostics, a Utah-based molecular diagnostics company, develops, manufactures and markets state-of-the-art diagnostics technologies. Its technologies are utilized for tests designed using the detection and/or analysis of nucleic acid molecules (DNA or RNA). The company also uses its proprietary technology to design specific tests for its Co-Dx PCR at-home and point-of-care platform (subject to regulatory review and not currently for sale) and to identify genetic markers for use in applications other than infectious disease.

The joint venture, CoSara Diagnostics, was established to manufacture and distribute Co-Diagnostics' products in India and neighboring countries. This territorial expansion is a key milestone in the company's growth strategy, allowing it to tap into new markets with high unmet needs for diagnostic testing. Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal and Sri Lanka collectively represent a significant population base, where infectious diseases remain a major public health concern.

By expanding its presence in South Asia, Co-Diagnostics aims to leverage its innovative PCR technology to address these challenges. The PCR Pro(R) platform is designed to provide rapid, accurate testing in point-of-care settings, potentially improving patient outcomes and reducing the burden on healthcare systems. The SARAGENE(R) product line includes reagents and kits for various molecular tests.

Investors will be watching for regulatory approvals and commercialization progress in these new territories, which could drive revenue growth for the company. For more information about Co-Diagnostics, visit the company's website at https://co-dx.com/.
