The Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) has been added to the Toronto CityPASS program, providing visitors with discounted access to one of Canada's premier cultural institutions. CityPASS, a bundled attraction ticketing service operating in 17 North American cities, now includes the AGO among its Toronto offerings, which already feature the CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium of Canada, and other major sites.
Founded in 1900, the AGO is one of North America's largest art museums, housing a collection of more than 120,000 works. Highlights include the world's largest public collection of Henry Moore sculptures, Peter Paul Rubens' The Massacre of the Innocents (c. 1610), Pablo Picasso's La misereuse accroupie (The Crouching Woman) (1902), and Yayoi Kusama's immersive INFINITY MIRRORED ROOM - LET'S SURVIVE FOREVER (2017). The museum also features significant works by Indigenous and Canadian artists, including Emily Carr and the Group of Seven, along with the Thomson Collection of Ship Models.
The AGO is currently undergoing its seventh expansion, the Dani Reiss Modern and Contemporary Gallery, set to open in 2027, which will increase exhibition space for modern and contemporary art. The museum offers diverse programming for all ages, including live performances, talks, and family-friendly activities at the Dr. Mariano Elia Hands-On Centre. Seasonal events like Family Day and March Break programs combine storytelling, artmaking, and performances. Dining options range from the AGO Bistro to the Espresso Bar, and the Shop AGO offers artisan jewelry and art-inspired gifts.

Tickets cost $134.96 CAD for adults and $99.96 CAD for children ages 4-12, excluding tax. They are valid for nine consecutive days starting from first use. Mobile tickets are available at citypass.com. Ticketholders can use the My CityPASS app to access tickets, view attraction details, special offers, and upgrades.
