Andina Copper Reports Outstanding Drill Intercepts from Second Hole at Cobrasco Project

Andina Copper Corporation (TSX-V: ANDC | FSE: FIR | OTCQB: PMMCF) has reported outstanding drill intercepts from the second hole of its maiden diamond drilling program at the Cobrasco copper-molybdenum project in Choco, Colombia. Following up on high-grade intersections in drillhole CDH003, results from CDH004 have revealed further strong mineralization, underscoring the size and scale of the system.

Drillhole CDH004, completed to a depth of 900.25 meters, returned significant wide intercepts of copper-molybdenum mineralization. The interval from 579 to 686 meters contained the strongest copper grades, averaging 0.75% Cu, associated with intensely fractured magmatic-hydrothermal breccias. Peak assays included 1.70% Cu over 2 meters. Sporadic gold mineralization up to 1.06 g/t was also encountered, suggesting a possible gold-rich intrusive phase within the broader Cobrasco system.

Joseph van den Elsen, President and CEO of Andina Copper, stated: "Following recent results from CDH003, the wide intercepts of high-grade copper mineralization reported in CDH004 further validate the size, scale and grade of the Cobrasco system. We see the potential for a globally significant deposit(s) at Cobrasco." The company plans to mobilize a second drill rig to expedite exploration.

Drillhole CDH005, completed to 934 meters, targeted southern extensions and intersected visually significant chalcopyrite-dominant mineralization in dacite-andesite units. Assays are pending, but geological observations support the interpretation of a large, long-lived mineralizing system extending south of the current drill footprint.

The Cobrasco project is located in the Choco region of Colombia, within the Andean porphyry belt. Andina Copper holds two significant discoveries along this belt in Argentina and Colombia, as well as a copper-gold target in Chile. The company's corporate presentation is available at Andina Copper Corporate Presentation.

The technical information in this news release has been verified by Francisco Montes, a qualified person under NI 43-101. Quality assurance and quality control procedures were followed, including sample preparation at ALS facilities in Medellin and Lima. Drill core was logged, cut, and sampled under strict protocols to ensure representative results.

These results further confirm the potential for a large-scale porphyry copper-molybdenum deposit at Cobrasco, with ongoing step-out drilling aimed at expanding the mineralized footprint. The company's mailing list and social media channels provide updates: Mailing List, LinkedIn, X, Instagram.
