Andina Copper Confirms New Porphyry Discovery at Piuquenes North, Argentina

Andina Copper Corporation (TSX-V: ANDC | FSE: FIR | OTCQB: PMMCF) reported diamond drill assay results from holes PIU12 and PIU13 at the newly generated Piuquenes North target in San Juan, Argentina. The drilling confirmed a new porphyry copper-gold system, with hole PIU13 returning 468 meters grading 0.50% copper, 0.30 g/t gold, and 3.04 g/t silver from 700 meters depth, including a higher-grade interval of 164 meters at 0.70% Cu, 0.44 g/t Au, and 4.19 g/t Ag from 924 meters.

The mineralization is hosted within a multiphase porphyry system intersected between 664 and 1,168 meters downhole, featuring an intense quartz vein stockwork with chalcopyrite and bornite in potassic altered porphyry. Gold is a significant co-product, with lesser silver. Hole PIU12, collared 600 meters east-northeast of PIU13, intersected short intervals of mineralization on the periphery of the system, supporting the interpreted upside to the north.

The targeted MT geophysical anomaly measures approximately 800 by 700 meters and trends north-northeast, remaining largely untested. President and CEO Joseph van den Elsen stated, "High-grade Cu-Au values from PIU13 confirm a new discovery, proximate to Piuquenes Central. Only a fraction of the large anomaly has been tested, and we are designing the next phase of drilling to expand on this potentially significant discovery."

Andina Copper has rapidly advanced the Piuquenes project since January 2025, now hosting three porphyry centers: Piuquenes North, Central, and East, all adjacent to Aldebaran Resources Inc.'s Altar copper-gold porphyry project. Other large porphyry projects in the San Juan Miocene belt include El Pachon (Glencore) 30 km south, Los Pelambres (60% Antofagasta plc) in Chile, and Los Azules (McEwen Copper) 50 km northeast.

The Company plans to integrate assay results into a refined geological model to design follow-up drilling targeting down-dip and along-strike extensions. For more information, view the Corporate Presentation at Andina Copper Corporate Presentation and follow updates on LinkedIn and X.
