AdvantaPure, a division of NewAge Industries, Inc., announced the launch of EcoFlex, a sustainable thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) tubing designed to reduce environmental impact in biopharmaceutical and pharmaceutical manufacturing. The product will be formally introduced on February 25, 2026, in Raleigh, NC, at the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineering's Carolina–South Atlantic Chapter event in partnership with Carolina Components Group (CCG).
EcoFlex incorporates a bio-based oil instead of traditional fossil-based oil in the polymer manufacturing process, resulting in an approximate 25% reduction in product carbon footprint compared to conventional TPE tubing. The tubing is sealable and weldable, available in a wide range of configurations including single-use systems and custom designs. A comprehensive validation package supports its use in regulated environments.
